PL-P3/SMP
Slot 1 Server and Workstation Processor Upgrade Adapter
*** Notice:  The PL-P3/SMP™ has been discontinued and is no longer available ***

The PowerLeap PL-P3/SMP™ provides a cost effective processor upgrade path for dual-processor Slot 1 servers and workstations, such as the Dell PowerEdge 2300, 2350, and 2400.  PowerLeap server upgrades are able to provide higher performance at a fraction of the cost that many system manufacturers might charge. With the innovative PL-P3/SMP, you can obtain significantly faster performance (up to 1.4GHz) from your server/workstation by upgrading to Intel Pentium III-S™ ("Tualatin" core, 512KB L2 cache) processors.

Features
  • Compatible with all .13 Micron Intel "Tualatin" processors and .18 Micron “Coppermine” processors
  • Enables Multi-processing kernels when paired with Pentium 3 based processors
Available with any Windows OS based on the NT Kernel
